Why is there always one in the punchbowl?
I’ve finally gotten off my butt and started to act on my theory of “IF YOU HAVEN’T TOUCHED/USED IT IN FIVE YEARS, GET RID OF IT!” I’ve sold about ten things on FB Marketplace and it’s been fun meeting the people, hearing about how they are going to use my stuff, and actually paying money for items I no longer have a use for. Then comes a guy who sends me a text about an item on the first day it’s posted for $100. Wants it for $60. I tell him no, it’s too early. Later, he messages me and says, ok, I’ll pay the $100 but I can’t pick it up until Friday. I’m fine with that, but its still first come, first served. Then, on Friday, messaging me to confirm, needs address, etc., “I’ll be there at four” – Four comes and goes, and at 5:15, after putting other things on hold, I message him – “I assume you’re not coming?” Maybe a little negative, but no call, no “I’m delayed”. Still no response, but the guy gives me a negative review, saying I got angry because he didn’t show. Go figure.
